Overview

As a recognized expert in analytics, service pricing and demand creation (distribution and digital marketing) Anderson often engages with industry in a variety of roles – including collaborative research, consulting, custom education programs, as well as advisory and expert witness roles.  Anderson has founded and/or been a part of several analytics and technology related startups.

Anderson was Managing Director Innovative Analytix from 2001-06.  Innovative Analytix (IA) was a management consulting firm in Toronto, Ontario. IA specialized in using quantitative analysis for decision making and the development of prototype decision support systems. Since 2016 Anderson has been a Partner at Level60 Consulting a boutique technology consulting firm engages in the creation of bespoke technology solutions for data driven decision making.

Anderson co-founded and was Chief Scientist for PriceWhispers from 2009-2016.  PriceWhispers was a retail distribution firm that offered an innovative NYOP auction mechanism for retailers to reach price sensitive customers while still maintaining price integrity at regular outlets.  More recently Anderson has been actively involved as an investor and advisor for Bazo.  Bazo is an innovative Shopify partner enabling dynamic customer engagement and targeted price offerings through both direct NYOP enablement as well as a NYOP sample marketplace.

As a recognized hospitality leader Anderson has also engaged with the hospitality industry in numerous advisory roles. Anderson was an inaugural member of Expedia’s Industry Quorum (IQ), an advisory board/forum for elevating and discussing industry issues and opportunities. A platform for both Experts and Expedia to lend their voice and credibility to the ongoing, and ever-changing travel industry narrative.

Anderson was an Advisor to Hoken (2021-2024). Launched in late 2022, Hoken created a unique marketplace for the buying and selling of hotel rooms during high demand periods.

Anderson has been actively engaged in advisory roles with HSMAI (Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International) since 2010 – serving on the America’s Board (2018-2022) as well as the Revenue Management Advisory Board (2010-2024). HSMAI is committed to growing business for hotels and their partners, and is the industry’s leading advocate for intelligent, sustainable hotel revenue growth. The association provides hotel professionals & their partners with tools, insights, and expertise to fuel sales, inspire marketing, and optimize revenue.
